Memorial Day Weekend

We had a fun, busy Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately, it started with Andy getting laid off of work. His company wasn't doing so hot, so they let half of the employees go. Luckily, they got a good severance package and Andy has his contract work that he does. On Thursday night, we celebrated Grandma H.'s birthday over at Aunt Tina and Uncle Jason's. On Saturday morning, we got up and went to the dog park with Roscoe and Hazel. Roscoe spent his time marking every tree and trash can in the park. It's hard work when you have to keep your eye out for other dogs marking over you! Hazel brought her ball and didn't care who threw it - she'd fetch it and bring it to whichever human was closest.

Saturday night was our six year anniversary and Audrey spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa F.'s. We went to Ruth's Chris Steak House because we had never been there. It was good, but not so good that we have to go back again.

On Monday, Audrey's friends Emma, Addison, Avery and Jackson all came over for a barbeque. I never grabbed my camera, so I didn't get any cute shots of all of the kids, although none of them really interacted with each other. Addison did help me feed Audrey, although she didn't leave the spoon in Audrey's mouth long enough for her to get the applesauce off and she was getting pissed! I got a cute shot of Audrey and Hazel hanging out. Hazel let Audrey pet her and grab at her ears - I think she was just too worn out to move out of the way.

This final picture is Audrey with real piggy tails. They didn't last too long because her hair is so thin.
