Happy Birthday Roscoe!
Today is our first baby's birthday (and it's been 11 years since Andy and I had our first date - yikes!). Roscoe turns 6 years old today! Not bad for a dog who wasn't supposed to see his first birthday. Roscoe is the silliest basset hound and we love him to pieces. Even though he has made it his life's goal to drive me crazy, I wouldn't trade him for the world. Happy Birthday big guy!

Audrey Can't Hold Her Licker
My baby is a weirdo. She loves to lick things. She licks my shoulder when I'm holding her, she licks her hands, if she can get a toy up to her mouth, she licks it, and if she's lying near anything, she'll stretch her head so she can lick it. Do you think she's spending too much time around the dogs? ;)
She laughed a real chuckle for the first time last weekend. Andy and I were on the floor with her making goofy faces and she just smiled at those. Then, the dogs sat in front of her and she laughed and laughed at them! She's going to really love her doggies when she's older ~ they already love her!

I'm Still Here!
It's been a while since I've posted - it's tough managing my time between working, mommying and keeping up the house! Luckily, Audrey has been great for those who are helping watch her while I'm at work. Her cousin Ryan LOVES it when she comes over. Aunt Tina has to put her bouncy chair on the table because Ryan loves to give her big, wet kisses! He even hands her his remote control, which is a big deal because that's his favorite toy.
Audrey can now grab onto small toys. She's better if you put it in her hand, but sometimes she'll accidentally pick one up on her own. She also pays more attention to her toys. I can lay her under her activity mat and she'll stare at the toys on it for a while. As you can see from the picture above, she has also mastered sitting in the Bumbo seat!
