I have turned into a bag lady. On a typical work day, I carry my purse, my pump, a tote with stuff in it, a lunch bag, a back pack for Audrey and a bag for Bridget. In addition to that, in the living room, I have a large diaper bag, a small diaper bag, and a ballet bag. I need and use all of these bags right now, but hopefully at the end of next month, I will wean Bridget and will be able to get rid of the pump and tote and maybe one of the diaper bags.

I have SO much baby stuff to get rid of. I have let two people go through my newborn through 6-9 month clothes and I still have half of a Rubbermaid tote left. I picked out the nicer stuff to try to sell at a consignment sale in March and the rest will be saved for the spring neighborhood garage sale. I will also have baby toys, 2 boppy's, all of the bottle and pump accessories, etc.

It’s kind of bittersweet getting rid of all of this baby stuff (no, Grandma Mary, we will not be having another one!), but I keep thinking of all of the extra space I will have! I have been watching Hoarders on A&E and it makes me super eager to get rid of clutter. :) I went through my dresser and closet and donated a bag full of clothes that I've had since pre-Audrey and I'm in the process of convincing Andy to get rid of some of his junk in the basement and backyard.

Enough rambling – the whole purpose of posting today was because I forgot to put this video up in the last post. Audrey has been “helping” Bridget work on her walking!

Miss B learned how to climb the stairs on Friday and is obsessed with it. I put a gate on the bottom step, but Audrey thinks it's funny to move the gate and climb up while going "Come on, Bridget!" Fun times...

I also have to post this little gem of a photo from earlier today:

Ryan did not want to participate in the dress up, but I got a “Cheers!” from him!

Well, time to go pack all of my bags for tomorrow!

11 Months Old

It's hard to believe that Bridget will be a year old next month, mostly because she is such a tiny little thing! She now waves (although usually her hand is facing herself) and tries to blow kisses. I'm pretty sure I saw her look at her sis and say "Ah Dee" a couple of times but she only says "Mama" when she is whining, and it's more like "mamamama," so it may just be babble! Here is her 11 month portrait:

And big sister's:

We still haven't been up to a whole lot because of the weather, although it was nice enough to venture out to Monkey Joe's with the twins on Tuesday. We went right at lunch time and had the whole place to ourselves. We took Bridget in one of the bouncy houses and she had a blast bouncing and crawling around! I just realized that she is wearing the same shirt that Audrey has on in the picture above. Yay for hand-me-downs!

Audrey is standing on a turtle singing the Ariel song here. Keep singing! (Little Mermaid reference...)

This picture cracks me up - this is groggy Audrey yesterday when I had to wake her from a dead sleep so we could get ready for daycare.

Here are some Audrey-isms:

She hears Andy call me Honey, so she calls me Honey sometimes. This is only when she isn’t calling me Cinderella or Marge (Simpson).

She flattens herself up against the wall and says "Look, I'm a picture!"

When the girls are in another room and I can’t see them, I’ll say “Hey, what are you guys doing?” in a sing-songy voice. Now, if Audrey is doing something that she knows she shouldn’t be and I don’t see her, she’ll yell “Hey Mommy, what are we guys doing?”

She comes up to me and whispers “Do you want to know a secret?” and every time the secret is “Do you want to build a rainbow?” I tell her “Yes” but she has yet to show me the secret to building a rainbow!

And so she is not left out, here is a typical conversation with Bridget: Me: “Say Mama.” B: “Dada” Me: “No, Mama.” B: “Dada” A couple of nights ago, we heard Audrey go “Bridget, say Ariel.” :)

If Bridget could talk, this is probably what she would say:
Ha ha!

Cold, cold and more cold

Sorry for the lack of updates, but it's been freakin' cold here, so we've been driving each other crazy in the house for the past few days! We got a little bit of snow on Thursday, but it wasn't much and after the initial excitement, Audrey didn't really care about going out to play in it.

Audrey started her next session of ballet on Thursday and this time there are only two girls in class, so she gets lots of individual attention. She gets a little side tracked when the other little girl, who is about 6 months younger, starts running around on her own, but then she will stop and do a ballet move that Miss Sara had taught them.
Audrey told me last night that she was going to take me to the aquarium and buy me a "Disney Princess Cinderella" doll, Bridget a Tinkerbell doll, and Grandma Carol a Princess Tiana doll. Then she gave me a big hug and said "I lub you, Mommy!" I gotta say, it brought a little tear to my eye!

Little Miss Bridget is doing much better with her sleeping lately even with two more teeth popping through. She also grew thick, luxurious hair since her last photo. :)

She crawled into the kitchen the other day and then started crying. When I ran in there, I noticed that she had trapped herself under the stool and it didn't help that Roscoe was kissing her while she was stuck! Then she kept holding on to the stool rail as I lifted it... at least her sister is smart. (Just kidding Bridget - you are smart too!)
